Michelly Cordova
This versatile jazz/soul singer burst onto the Los Angeles Jazz scene in 2006, with a powerful voice and vocal range, reminiscent of Ella Fitzgerald. Michelly's song writing and recording accomplishments are just as impressive as her stage performance. Her first 2 songwriter credits came in 2007 for Billy Lee Riley (famed Sun Records Artist), on his final album "Still Got My Mojo.” In 2009, she released her first album "Midnight Lounge", a collection of jazz standards with unique rearrangements. Michelly performs many live show in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and famed venues including Vitello's in Studio City, the Dresden Room with Marty & Elayne, and internationally at the Maastricht Jazz Festival in the Netherlands. Michelly's diverse musical style includes Modern Soul & Blues as evident in her 2011 EP "Love Me, Love Me". After writing new material from 2012 to 2013, with Grammy Nominated Producer Bob Tucker and Jazz Pianist Jane Getz, in Feb 2014 she released "Love, Dreams and Everything In Between”. Shortly followed was a remix of, "Love is a mystery", in Sept. 2014. This remix was produced by Joseph Holiday, known as Hollywood’s GoTo Music Producer. Michelly is currently working on a new recordings with Joseph Holiday and is writing new material with guitarist and songwriter Mark Hayes. Expect a new release in Summer 2016
In June 2016, Michelly Cordova teams up Yukako Yamano as they perform live, with special guest performers from Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Yukako Yamano
This phenom piano from Tokyo, Japan started her study of music at age 3, then began learning jazz and participating in live performances as a teenager thru the Tokyo College of Music. Yukako carried her study of jazz into university where she began performing original compositions in live concerts. She studied under jazz pianist Eriko Shimizu, classical pianist Akiko Kodaka, and was an apprentice under Junko Inada. She attended the master class of classical pianist Peter Jablonski.
Yukako performs many live shows in Tokyo and internationally including Taiwan, Hong Kong, France, Spain and United States. She is currently a certified instructor at the Korg Cafe Style music program and researcher for the Lee Evans Association. On June 2015, Yukako Yamano released her second album "2nd Stage" with Koichi Osamu (bass) and Manabu Fujii (drums).
In June 2016, Yukako Yamano joins Michelly Cordova as they perform live, with special guest performers from Los Angeles and San Francisco.
